Tomorrow is Monday, again. Sigh. As usual the weekend went much to fast, and not nearly as much as I planned got completed. Here’s a wrap-up of what we did.
Saturday I spent the day organzing my closet! It is significantly improved, and while it didn’t make for an exciting afternoon- it was worth it! I met Erin when she got off work we went down to check out the cherry blossoms – which are almost in full bloom! They are a hige attraction here, but the peak bloom is coming much later than expected because of the snow we got a few weeks ago. It was a pretty evening – but very crowded. Since peak bloom should be later this week, we are planning to head back down to the tidal basin again later this week.
After walking around the tidal basin and checking out the Jefferson Memorial, we met my friend Bri (from Peace Corps) and her boyfriend at our favorite Mexican place.
Today I had planned to spend all day gardening, but I ended up working most of the day. I did spend a couple of hours this evening mowing the backyard and pulling weeds from one flower bed area. I am trying to decided what to plant there now that it’s free of weeds! I don’t have any pics, but I am hoping to make some more progress on it later this week!
I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the week!
