Spring has arrived in DC! We had a beautiful week of warm (even hot!) weather. We opened all our windows to let the fresh air in – and the kitties were especially happy about this!
This week was very busy with work so I did not have time to blog, but lots went on! We got our new front door (I’ll post pics later), went out to see the cherry blossoms at their peak, and spent quality time with good friends and in the garden (gardening is HARD work!).
Our second trip to the cherry blossoms this week was worth it! The peak bloom lasts only for a few days so everyone in the city descends on the Tidal Basin and Lincoln Memorial to enjoy. Here are some of our best pictures from the evening:
The weekend was so relaxing and wonderful that I actually feel ready to head back to work tomorrow. That is a good thing, because this week is looking to be as busy as the last. Also – Erin’s birthday is coming up on Saturday – #34 🙂
I wish everyone a wonderful start to their week!
