Erin left yesterday evening to spend Christmas in California with her family. A late departing plane out of Reagan left her sprinting across Newark airport to make it to her SFO flight – but she made it and arrived in San Francisco at about 12am this morning.
Since Erin and I won’t be able to spend Christmas Day together, we spent this past weekend celebrating. We kicked off the weekend with an impromptu trip to Baltimore for a German style Christmas market – complete with Gluwein!
Saturday morning we unwrapped gifts and then had our Christmas dinner in the evening.
Sunday we headed out to see the National Christmas tree. Since it was day time, the tree wasn’t lit up, but it was still a fun outing. They even have smaller trees for all of the states, and U.S. territories!
