Souq Wagif (translating as “Old Market”) is a popular hang out place in Doha with cafes and restaurants. I usually go a couple times a week for either dinner or to hang out at outdoor cafes and drink tea. The market serves as both a toursist destination, and actual market. I’ll buy some spices and gifts here before heading home.

This week is the Spring festival…which I find strange as it’s only February…but, I guess we don’t have much time before things get hot again. The weather is actually perfect right now, and I spent the morning by the pool reading the newspaper.
